Once you have a month’s inventory of meals, you’ll have a good written record and general sense of your eating habits.

In astrology, food is ordered according to its underlying energy values. In macro terms, the spectrum has sugars and starches at one end, protein at the other, with fats and fiber in between.

For this first month of your Astrology Diet, you’re going to eat what you ate last month but you’re going to separate the sugars and starches from the proteins.

For example, if the meal is meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and collard greens: put the meatloaf OR the potatoes aside for the next meal and eat the other with the greens.

Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good, and try this for a month. If you’re dieting with purpose, use whatever metrics you want — weight, BP, etc. — or whatever your doctor recommends.

When you get to read the book and understand the rationale behind the process, you’ll already be good at the process.
